Every Fort Myers home is different. We've shuttered them all.

Fort Myers isn't one housing market — it's five. The 1920s bungalows in the historic Edison Park and Dean Park districts need shutters that respect the architecture (and sometimes a conversation with the historic preservation board). The mid-century ranches off McGregor Boulevard have jalousie-era openings that need careful measurement. The newer gated communities out in Gateway and Colonial have HOA architectural review committees with opinions. We've worked with all of them.

Riverfront condos along the Caloosahatchee and homes in Iona and San Carlos Park near the river mouth take the hardest wind exposure in the city. If you watched the surge come up First Street during Ian, you know the River District's vulnerability isn't theoretical. For ground-level openings in surge-prone areas we'll tell you honestly: shutters stop wind and debris, not water — and we'll help you prioritize the openings that actually protect the structure.

Lee County permits, pulled and closed

Unincorporated Fort Myers runs through Lee County permitting, and the City of Fort Myers has its own office for homes inside city limits. We file the right permit with the right office, schedule the inspection, and close it out — because an open permit will bite you at sale or claim time. It's included in every quote, never a line-item surprise.

Typical Fort Myers install: 12–16 openings, one day on site. Motorized roll-downs are our most-requested upgrade for lanais along the river — close the whole back of the house from your phone.

From your Fort Myers neighbors

★★★★★

"I had two other companies ghost me after the initial call. Ethan picked up the phone, answered every question I had about roll-downs vs. accordion, and never once pressured me. The motorized roll-downs he installed are incredible — I close them from my phone."

★★★★★

"Our HOA in Gateway has an architectural committee that rejects half of what homeowners submit. Ethan handled the application himself with spec sheets and color matches — approved first pass. Install took one day, 15 openings."

"1950s ranch off McGregor with original window framing — two companies refused to touch it. Ethan measured twice, ordered custom tracks, and the accordions fit perfectly. The wind mitigation report saved us almost $600 a year."
